“ The entire vibe as you walk in feels very welcoming. I was greeted by a server and quickly took my to-go order since I was in a hurry. The Pad Thai was incredible. So Juicy and filled with delicious flavors. I also got the cream cheese wontons that disappeared in minutes. Very tasty food and I would recommend House of Thai. Definitely a gem in Yorba Linda. ”
“ The best yellow curry I've ever had! Perfect amount of sweetness. Yellow curry is my favorite Thai dish and this restaurant is by far the absolute best. Delicious, authentic Thai food made from a really nice family. I'll be coming again for sure. My fiance really enjoyed her Tom Kha Soup and Chicken Basil. ”
“ On the hunt to find a new go-to Thai restaurant and caught onto the good reviews here so we thought we'd check this place out. I'm so glad we did. We ordered three dishes for the two of us, and would rate them as follows: - pad see ew: 8/10 - panang curry: 8.5/10 - spicy basil fried rice: 10/10 We normally don't order spicy basil fried rice because it's usually just "okay", but man their basil fried rice knocked our socks off. Just delicious and the flavors were nice and bold. We enjoyed the pad see ew and panang curry, and felt they were better than average compared to other Thai restaurants, but not the best we've ever had. Panang curry seemed watered down (not as thick of consistency as we've had at other Thai restaurants), but the flavors were great. Pad see ew was standard, but points for great taste and good-sized portions. We noticed for all the dishes, although more expensive than other Thai restaurants, the portions were large and justified the higher price. Overall, we'd come back here again, and it's a solid choice for Thai food in Yorba Linda. Dining experience was great, service was nice and fast, and it seems like a great place to host a party if you can reserve the patio with good weather. ”
“ We wanted to try a new Thai place and found House of Thai Cuisine on Yelp. They certainly have repeated customers which says a lot. Service is very accommodating, super nice, smiles on all staff. Restaurant is a good size and they have a mini patio seating too. They forgot one of our curry dishes and felt so bad so they gave us extra rice and a discount for the next meal. The garlic pepper steak was delicious and so was the soup! Great flavors! ”
“ I'm so excited that this place exists. It's so hard to find good, authentic Thai food in this area. We used to have to go all the way to Rowland Heights, but since House of Thai opened, we don't have to make that drive anymore! This place has very quickly become a part of our regular monthly rotation. The food is delicious. Seriously the best Thai food in the area. The most authentic and flavorful Thai food you'll find around here - even more so when they first opened. I feel like the flavor has changed just a tad since the first time we tried it, but it's still absolutely delicious. The Pad Thai, Crab Fried Rice, Pineapple Fried Rice, Tom Yum, Tom Kha, and Mango Sticky Rice are our absolute favorites! We haven't tried their drinks out yet but they have an extensive alcohol menu as well. The service is always great! The staff are friendly and helpful and constantly check in. It also seems they've gotten a few new hires recently who are also top notch. The restaurant decor is nice and modern. Everything is new and kept very clean. If you haven't tried them out yet, definitely find time to do so! You won't regret it! ”
“ I was looking for a new Thai restaurant to try out and this spot was recommended! This place claimed to be the best Thai restaurant in the Yorba Linda area so I wanted to try them out. Here's what we ordered: **Tom Yum Noodle Soup: Delicious! The flavor was excellent. The balance of spice, sweet, and citrus was perfect! The shrimp, chicken, and fish cake were all very good. Very refreshing soup for those hot or cold days. (5/5) **Pad See-Ew: Mom got the lunch special and ordered it with chicken. It also came with a side salad and an egg roll. The dish itself was very flavorful and not salty at all. Chicken was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. (5/5) **Fried Tofu: Delicious! The tofu was a perfect golden brown and piping hot throughout our whole meal. The sweet and sour sauce with crushed peanuts was great! (5/5) For this day and age, prices are very cheap! Lunch combo is very affordable and portions are very high compared to other places with lunch specials. Service was excellent and we didn't have to wait to flag anyone down. Our server checked up on us very often. I 100% recommend this Thai restaurant. This is easily one of my favorite spots in the Orange County area now! ”
“ This is probably one of the better Thai restaurants that I've been to in awhile! House of Thai recently opened and the restaurant was quite busy! they have a very welcoming staff, delicious food, and a nice layout with outdoor seating. We ordered pad thai, panang curry, their drunken noodles, and ended the night with the seasonal mango and sticky rice! Yumm! All dishes were a 10/10 for me, but the best dish was their panang curry. It was sooooo flavorful and perfectly spiced! I wish I had taken more photos, but I ended up getting a pic of their delicious heart-shaped mango sticky rice! I highly recommend this place, and I hope it does very well. ”
“ If you're trying to find The House of Thai it's in the Enterprise car rental center on Bastanchury and Imperial. A pleasant surprise was seeing Jay again. She used to be a server at another Thai restaurant. Jay was a superstar worker. I'm so happy that her family now owns The House of Thai. She's always so happy, helpful and friendly. Now for the food: Crab fried rice: rice had good amount of crab and flavored well. Pad see ew: getting that right amount of wok char and melding the flavors worked out wonderfully for this dish. Spicy eggplant with pork: in an effort to eat more vegetables this dish hit the spot. Kept it mild and added chili's in fish sauce to kick up the heat. Mango sticky rice: presentation and knife skills can't be overlooked. Beautifully presented. A perfect way to end a Thai meal. A combination of slightly sweet, lightly salted and a touch of milkiness. I'll definitely be back. I usually get green curry (spicy) but didn't have room on this visit. Looking forward to trying more dishes and wish the best for this family restaurant to grow. ”
“ Have seen House of Thai on my drive home for some time and have been meaning to check it out. We visited on a Wednesday night and received attentive service; they were quick to take our order, but didn't rush us and also packed our leftovers for us when they could tell we were stuffed! They didn't ask for spiciness level for any of the dishes; but they were all pleasantly spicy (probably 4 or 5 out of 10). Some thoughts on what we ordered follows: Tom Yum Noodle Soup $14.99 - there was plenty of chicken (but it was a bit overdone), fish balls and 3 pcs of shrimp. The noodles were a bit on the soft side, but the broth was nicely balanced between sweet and spicy. I'm used to seeing the soup on the clearer side, but it was yummy nonetheless! Drunken Noodles $14.99 - the bell peppers and onions were evenly julienned and not too oily. There were plenty of pieces of pork (also a bit overdone). None of the noodles stuck together, which is difficult to do right! Would order again! Crab Fried Rice $18.99 - there was a generous ratio of crab to rice, and it was also balanced of sweet and spicy! Definitely ordering this again! House Special Spicy Tilapia Filets $23.99 - came on a sizzling platter; served with fried basil leaves. Skipped out on this as I try not to have fried food; husband thought it was a little bit on the wet side, but it's fried and then sautéed in a red sauce, so not sure what he was expecting. ”
